Energetic workout with a step board!
Step Aerobics consists of cardio sequences using a step board mixed with strength exercises done with bodyweight.
Step aerobics is a very effective cardio workout and it’s also great for muscle endurance.
The class may include jumps but you can choose to stay in low impact versions. You can also change the intensity level of your workout by adjusting the height of your step board. Hence the class is suitable for beginners as well as for advanced.
At Liikunta building get the equipment for the class from the equipment room L149. The instructor will write on the white board next to the equipment room what you'll need. At Jamk all equipment are in the sports hall.
