You can become a member and enjoy a wide range of activities, including gym services, group fitness classes, ball games, Yogobe's extensive video library, and seasonal benefits.

uMove's services are for the students and staff of JYU and Jamk. Click to read more specific user rights.
The right of use for Humak students has expired 31.8.2024.
Go to university webshop. Log in using HAKA with your personal university account (JYU, Jamk or Humak). Choose the right product and buy and pay for it.
The membership is personal and you can only buy it for yourself with your own credentials.
The membership is sold exclusively through university's webshop. (There are a couple of exceptions and see the info under next heading for those.)
The payment intermediary is Paytrail an the payment methods available are credit card, Finnish net bank authorization, and Mobile Pay. We do not have other payment intermediaries available.

If you are a grant researcher at the university of Jyväskylä or if you are pursuing separate studies in education or a minor in physical education, it is not possible to purchase a membership online due to the HAKA status.
Instead you can purchase a membership sticker from the university's main cashier, in the T-building. The appointment to buy the membership is booked through HelpJYU with this form.
Please be prepared to show the right to purchase the sports sticker at the main cashier.
Mobile membership is your ticket to classes and shifts. You can easily open it with your phone. The mobile membership is activated when its validity period starts and you will find it here.
The mobile membership is conveniently located at the top of the home page of our website. On a mobile device or a smaller screen, your mobile membership is a icon (blue ball with a picture of a mobile phone), and on a larger screen it appears as text in the top right-hand corner of the page.
On a phone, you should save the mobile membership to your screen so you can open it quickly.
Please note that in the beginning of terms you can buy the membership before the validity period starts so just wait patiently for the mobile membership to be activated.
If you do not use a smartphone, you can get a membership sticker for your student or staff card at the JYY central office in Ilokivi or at the Soihtu Housing service point (Vehkakuja 2 B). Take your payment receipt and student/staff card with you.

When your right to study or employment ends, your uMove membership also expires.
The University does not refund sports fees. Online paid sports fees and registrations for sports events are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal and refund provided for in Article 14 KSL. Pursuant to Chapter 6, Section 16, Paragraph 1, Subsection 11 of the Consumer Protection Act, leisure services are not covered by the Consumer Protection Act.
uMove's services are recreational sports services and users are not insured on uMove's behalf.
