Where can I buy uMove’s membership?

You can purchase the membership from the web shop, where payment is made via Paytrail by online payment from a domestic bank, credit card or MobilePay.

NOTE! For grant researchers at the University of Jyväskylä and for those studying separate educational studies and a minor in Physical Education at the University of Jyväskylä, it is not possible to purchase a membership online due to Haka status. Instead a physical membership sticker can be purchase at the University's main cashier in the T-building. The appointment is booked through HelpJYU with this form. Please be prepared to show the right to purchase the membership at the main cashier.

I would like to buy a student membership from the web shop, but the only option shown in the shop is a staff membership. What do I do?

Only one status can be displayed in the web shop at a time. If you are both a student and a staff member at the university, you can buy a membership with the status that appears in the shop. The price and the services are the same for everyone.

If your status changes in the middle of a term but you are still eligible to use uMove’s services, your mobile membership will remain visible.

Where can I find my mobile membership?

Mobile membership is your ticket to classes and shifts. You can easily open it with your phone. The mobile membership is activated when its validity period starts and you will find it here. Just log in with your school's HAKA credentials

The mobile membership is conveniently located at the top of the home page of our website. On a mobile device or a smaller screen, your mobile membership is a icon (blue ball with a picture of a mobile phone), and on a larger screen it appears as text in the top right-hand corner of the page.

You can also save your mobile membership in the home screen of your mobile phone, where it can be easily found and opened.

Please note that in the beginning of terms you can buy the membership before the validity period starts so just wait patiently for the mobile membership to be activated.

I have purchased a membership and would like to get moving, but the mobile membership is not yet active.

Check the validity period of your membership. In the beginning of the terms you can buy a membership before it’s valid and it’s activated once it’s valid.  

Mobile membership is stuck on a mobile device. What do I do?

Your mobile membership may accidentally get stuck on your mobile device. In this case, refreshing or reopening the page will help.

I don't use a smartphone - is there another way to show my membership instead of a mobile membership?

Yes! Pay your membership in the webshop and after that you can pick up a membership sticker at the JYY central office in Ilokivi or at the Soihtu Housing service point (Vehkakuja 2 B).

Take your payment receipt and student/staff card with you.

Where can I see when my membership expires?

Open your mobile memberhip and you will see the validity period of your membership: uMove. (korkeakoululiikunta.fi)

Please note that your membership expires at the end of your study rights/employment when your university ID stops working.

I have purchased a uMove membership that is still valid, but my study/employment has ended and I can no longer open a mobile membership. What do I do?

Why can't I log in to the booking calendar with my university’s credentials?

First you need to create your own user account. You can create an account with any email address you wish. You can create an account here: Jyväskylän korkeakoululiikunta (enkora.fi)

Note! If you create an account using the university's student email, please use the longer version of the email. 

Classes / shifts are not shown in the booking calendar. What do I do?

If you are viewing classes / shifts via your browser, try clearing the cache.

If you are viewing classes / shifts via the OnTheMove app, click all classes / sessions and locations active to see them.
